As a registered charity we can reclaim the tax on all subscriptions and donations made to us from 6th April, 2004. For every £1 that we receive we can reclaim 28p from the Inland Revenue at no cost to yourself, e.g. £25 can effectively be worth to us £32. Notes on Gift Aid:

  1. You must pay an amount in income tax/capital gains tax at least equal to the amount that can be reclaimed by the British Teilhard Association (currently 28p for each donated £1).
  2. You may cancel this declaration at any time.
  3. Please notify us if you change your name and/or address while this declaration is in force. If your circumstances change such that the condition in note 1 above no longer applies, please contact us to cancel your declaration.
  4. If you pay tax at a higher rate, then you can claim further tax relief in your self-assessment tax return.
  5. If you are unsure whether or not your donation qualifies for Gift Aid ask your local Tax Office for leaflet IR113 Gift Aid.
