Call for Papers by the Centre for Catholic Studies at Durham University

The CCS at Durham University holds an annual Teilhard Seminar (see below) and has asked the BTN to appeal for papers for a conference not on this occasion about Teilhard but about St. Francis. The title will be: ‘The Franciscan Legacy from the 13th Century to the 21st – Assessing the Continuing Significance of St Francis and Franciscan Traditions of Theology, Spirituality, and Action’. The 2019 Teilhard de Chardin Seminar at Durham University was on “Theology, Evolution and Violence: On Making War or Peace?”. It was given by Prof. Celia Deane-Drummond of Durham University and the University of Notre Dame.
