Ilia Delio is a Franciscan Sister of Washington DC and Professor at Villanova University. Her work in science and religion is influenced by the Jesuit scientist Teilhard de Chardin, who devoted his spiritual writing to bridging Christianity and evolution. As such, she gave the 2019/20 Teilhard Seminar—this year a public lecture presented as part of a conference on the Franciscan Legacy (5-7 November).
