British Teilhard Association – Dissolution

Sadly it was decided at the Extraordinary General Meeting on 3 June 2017 that the British Teilhard Association should be dissolved by the end of this year, due to lack of membership.

The good news is that the BTA’s existing financial resources will be used, first, to continue funding the BTA website under the name of the British Teilhard Network. Second, to sponsor a conference in 2018 at Edinburgh University’s School of Divinity on the issues involved in reconciling science and religion. Third, to endow an annual Teilhard Seminar at Durham University’s Centre for Catholic Studies.
